I have only recently had to use prescription medicine after i had to have eye surgery.
I was surprised to find out how much chemist warehouse was cheaper on the particular prescription i needed.
I needed some at the hospital, price was $28.95, needed to get a refil at a local chemist near where I worked, price- $31.95. Even this chemist had a sign out the front - upto 50% off prescriptions
I needed another refil and decided to try chemist warehouse. To my surprise it was $20 for exactly the same thing.
My mum is going to check out their prices, as she needs to get ones every couple weeks, and shops at the local chemist as she didnt release there is so much difference.
I had always been sceptical about the claim of upto 50% off, but was very happy to see it is actually the case, or somewhere near it.
I am sure most bargain hunters here would already know to shop around, but I thought i would share here just incase there was people who hadn't thought of it. It doesn't make much of a difference for me as i only need a new one once a month, but other people will need it more often would make a big difference.
On another point, I love the poll this week, i would vote 100x for the " Exaggerated Discounts " answer :)
